What We Did:
As part of Dynaudio’s branded series The Sound of Humanity, we created a short film featuring Grammy-winning saxophonist and songwriter Kirk Whalum. One of three cinematic portraits in the series, this film explores the formative musical experiences that shaped Kirk’s artistry, the personal and professional challenges he overcame, and the pivotal advice that helped define his path.
Shot with a focus on intimacy and authenticity, the film blends interview, performance, and atmospheric visuals to reflect Kirk’s emotional journey. The trilogy culminates in a reflection on his current project, Humanité—a global musical collaboration that embodies the spirit of connection through sound.
